  • What is the difference between a payday and personal loans?

There are a few differences between a payday loan and a personal loan. Personal loans are also known as installment loans. Payday loans, by nature, are short-term loans where you pay a one-time fee based on the amount you borrowed. Payments are matched to come out on your payday. Generally, these are of a lower amount and are used for emergencies.

Personal loans are typically larger loans that can be used for anything. Personal loan payments can be spread out between 6 - 24 monthly payments.
